oh prom. junior prom. it's well, over now. what a
depressing thought. but now i have senior ball to look forward
to, right? but oh man... junior prom. it was everything
that i had expected and more. it was more than i could have ever
hoped for! hah and i got a new boyfriend out of it, rock!
well, first... i woke up at 6:45, because i just COULDNT sleep!
but i stayed in bed until about 8:20, then i took a shower and started
cleaning my room. i went to go pick up the boutinniere, and then
i went with shannon to get our nails done in orinda. that took
FOREVER but i never minded. we went home, and anna came over and
did my hair (cough). my BLOW DRYER burned out! it was
horrible. and then i fixed my hair after anna left and then maya
came over and i did HER hair. we got all dressed up, and waited
for shannon and the boys (&travis's date, alexandra) to show
up. and let me tell you, i was shaking like a leaf! nervous
as hell!
so they finally showed up and... i'll write it down so i don't
forget. instead of getting a jaw drop, i got a big smile and "you
look really pretty" followed by, "you look beautiful." just...
ignore that whoever is reading this.
so they showed up and we took SOOOO many pictures. you can check
them out on facebook//myspace. and then we headed to the city, to
"firecracker" for food! the ride there was a lot of fun,
jamming//singing along to music, making fun of cameron, finding the
webcam, holding hands... TOO MUCH LOVIN'. ooooh
forrest&&i got out of the limo outside of the restaurant, and
these guys in another car were like, "CONGRATUALTIONS!" and i was
like, "LOL YEAH WE'RE MARRIED!"
and the food was amazing in the city, like, wow. it was all
asiany. but it was good! i want more now... ehh oh
well. OH MY GOSH there was this guy that came by, and started
pointing at us (namely me&&travis) through the window, and then
he started to go inside, but then the chef came out and like, kicked
the guy out. we were freaking out, it was crazy. he pointed
at me, and did the sign of the cross, and then we pointed at travis and
pointed to the sky, then started coming it. wow. we were
like, "HOLY SHIT WE'RE GONNA DIE!" it was fun though, haha.
then, we got back in the limo, and they THOUGHT we kissed but we
hadn't, haha on you!
we got to the dance and WOW. the place looked incredible!
and there were chocolate fountains! i should have snacked more
while i was there, but i was preoccupied. forrest got
breathalized, and i didnt know where mac had taken him, and i was
FLIPPING OUT. oh man. they took my DATE! lol it was
bad, but i finally got him back (in my arms, YES!). 0.00%
baby! xDD and we took pictures over in the gym, and then
when i was walking back, i got a comment about my
tiara&&light-up shoes by sonia to bo, but i dont know if it was
bad or not. oh didn't i tell you? i HELLA had a
tiara. princess. hella. i totally stabbed forrest in
the face with it. hella.
so we danced more, and ate hella strawberries&&chocolate!
and... then you know what happened. i HAVE to document it,
because i don't EVER want to forget. so forgive me. we were
in the middle of things, and then it went back & forth on the
cheek, and then it just got closer, and hovered there for a
minute. i was gonna pull away, but it was like, "screw it" and it
happened! and there were cheers and screams and pictures being
taken, haha. focal point of the night. and things just went
uphill from there! even though i got beaten by brian.
damnit. we eventually left, a little bit early, mind you, and got
back into the limo and headed out to jeff's house for some snacks
before my parents picked me up. well, there was more lovin' in
the hot tub, and we found that jeff's parents had been watching us
through the webcam.
well, long story short... prom was the best funtime in my life. i
can't stop smiling about it--my life is complete now :D. i'm
so... just content.
ps: this month was incredible!
russia&&sandiego&&prom. it was busy, but it was
worth all the work. april is like... sacred now.
